Beyond Puerto del Carmen Seaport

The Cueva de los Verdes
Just under an hour’s drive from Puerto del Carmen Seaport are the Cueva de los Verdes (the Green Caves). These grottos are part of a 6km lava tube formed some 4,000 years ago when the Montana La Corona erupted. The caves have been lit atmospherically to enhance your experience of the stunning rock formations. It really is a fascinating day out.
