Company contract
As a business customer, does it make sense to enter into a framework contract (company contract)?
Yes. When you enter into a company contract, you receive exclusive company conditions, including a fixed price for 12 months, which provides you with planning certainty when renting your company vehicle. We can also handle your requests and requirements on an individual basis. Furthermore, you will have a personal contact available to you to answer questions and provide advice.
How big does a company need to be before it makes sense to enter into a framework agreement?
The advantages of a framework agreement apply to businesses of all sizes.
What agreements are there within a framework contract?
Among others:
– price sheets, including the agreed rates for individual vehicle groups
– the selected payment method, such as per invoice, AirPlus, etc.
– the desired booking channels
– kilometres and additional kilometres
– agreed insurance packages, and much more
What prerequisites must I fulfil in order to receive a framework contract and, with it, business conditions?
Entry in the Commercial Register is sufficient.
What costs does the business rate cover?
All rates generally include comprehensive insurance & protection against theft, including excess and registration fees, as well as costs for additional and young drivers.
Could there be additional costs, such as a residual value risk?
Additional costs that may be incurred are clearly defined in your company contract. There is no residual value risk. The agreed rates only apply to vehicle use (which corresponds to rental).
Which payment options are available for commercial clients?
We offer you numerous payment options, including invoicing or payment via credit card, etc. We are happy to advise you in detail about the various options in the course of a personal consultation.
What is the difference between the framework contract and the rental contract?
The framework contract includes the agreed general terms, rates and conditions for your company and employees. The rental contract is concerned with the rental itself. This means that for every rental vehicle you rent, there is a rental contract based on the conditions contained in your framework contract.
How is the rental vehicle insured against damage?
The rental price generally includes comprehensive insurance and protection against theft, including the excess. This can be reduced if needed. For additional, more detailed information about how damage is handled, see our General Terms and Conditions.
If I am unable to use my rental vehicle due to damage, will I receive a replacement?
Yes. Avis will deal with the damage and provide a replacement vehicle. There is also a specific service for this called Breakdown Service. For additional, more detailed information about how damage is handled, see our General Terms and Conditions.
What do I need to take into consideration when picking up or returning a vehicle?
You can find all the information you need in your rental agreement. It is possible to make returns outside of business hours. For additional questions about rental vehicle bookings for businesses, our rental location staff will be happy to assist you.
