Avis tries harder to make sure you are hassle and stress-free when you rent a car, but things don't always go to plan. This is where our dedicated customer service team is available to help you with any issue you may have experienced during your rental.All you need to do is contact our customer service team using the details below and quote your rental agreement or reservation number. This is so we can recall your rental details in our system.
If we are unable to give you an answer immediately due to the nature of the issue, we will run a thorough investigation and provide the relevant feedback, with a resolution.
Please note that we experience our highest call volumes between 1pm-3pm.

Our Customer Service team can only answer post-rental queries. For any questions before or during your rental, please call us.
We will endeavour to respond to you within a maximum of 10 to 15 days.

Dispute resolution
We are a member of the European Car Rental Conciliation Service (ECRCS) and a number of local car rental conciliation services. These organisations independently reviews disputes with no additional cost to you.
If you make a complaint and are unhappy with our final response you can refer your dispute to the relevant conciliation service. We will tell you who this is. For more information, please call our customer services department.
